Sequence of work
Four stages.
Excavate & load
Size the excavator to the truck fleet so loading and haul cycles match. Plan for rock-breaking or ripping if the geotech report calls for it.
Place & compact
Spread in specified layers, bring the fill to the right moisture with water carts, and compact to the density the testing regime requires.
Trim & verify
Trim to design levels with graders or machine-controlled dozers, then survey and test before handover.
